Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PAD platform operated by WeylandAI ("we," "us," or "our") at pad.weylandai.com. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

PAD is a construction document processing platform that provides:

• SubX: Automated hardware submittal extraction from PDF door and hardware schedules
• Schedule Management: Organization and review of extracted door and hardware data
• Quote Generation: Creation of hardware quotes based on extracted specifications
• Project Management: Grouping and tracking of construction projects
• Nova AI Assistant: AI-powered assistance for hardware specification questions

2. Account Registration

To use PAD, you must create an account through our authentication provider, AuthFor. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PAD only for lawful purposes related to construction document processing. You shall not:

• Upload documents you do not have the right to process
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our extraction algorithms
• Use the service to store or transmit malicious code
• Exceed your subscription's usage limits through automated means
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure

4. Subscription and Payment

PAD offers tiered subscription plans with varying submittal limits. Payment is processed through VendyAI, our billing provider.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan
• You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle
• Refunds are available within 14 days of initial subscription or plan upgrade if you have not used any submittals during that period
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension or account termination

5. Document Ownership and Licensing

We do not claim ownership of your uploaded documents or extracted data. Upon termination of your account, you may export your data, and we will delete stored documents within 90 days.

6. Accuracy and Disclaimers

While we strive for high accuracy in document extraction, PAD is an automated tool and may not perfectly extract all information from every document format.

7. Service Availability

We aim to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control.

8. Intellectual Property

The PAD platform, including its extraction algorithms, user interface, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of WeylandAI. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited license to use the service as a subscriber.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• WeylandAI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on extracted data without professional review

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WeylandAI and its officers, directors, and employees from claims arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the platform will end at the close of your current billing period
• You may export your data before access ends
• We will delete your stored documents and extracted data within 90 days
• We may terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms

12. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
